Today, we’re shining the spotlight on Renee Hungerford, Class of 2021. Renee has been a driving force in transforming Community Action of Orleans & Genesee by spearheading technology upgrades and embracing innovative ideas. Her efforts in modernizing and restructuring the organization have created a more efficient system, enabling Community Action to better serve those in need across Orleans and Genesee County.

Community Action changes people’s lives, embodies the spirit of hope, improves communities, and makes America a better place to live. We care about the entire community, and we are dedicated to helping people help themselves and each other.

We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and have served low-income and disadvantaged families for nearly 60 years. Community Action programs are designed to empower as well as provide opportunity to those who are not yet self-sufficient.
