Did you know that Renee Hungerford’s idea was the catalyst for Stone Soup!! She framed it from her own life’s wisdom, experience, and resourcefulness! Her ideas, paired with @United Way of Orleans County and CCE/ #snapedny started this county wide wellness movement

Today, we want to give a huge shoutout to our amazing partners, namely, the leadership duo at Community Action of Orleans and Genesee!

Jackie Dunham, Renee’s right hand man for this effort, offers leadership and unwavering support that is instrumental in driving positive change and fostering growth within our community.

Whether it’s coordinating with our funder, #Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Western New York, connecting us to grocers and partners, or keeping track of farmer reimbursement, you two always give us strength and guidance. We’re incredibly grateful.

Thank you for being such fantastic partners and for all that you do. Let’s continue to make a difference together!

We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and have served low-income and disadvantaged families for nearly 60 years. Community Action programs are designed to empower as well as provide opportunity to those who are not yet self-sufficient.
